The Kakamega Dairy Development Corporation (KDDC) has put up 25 dairy cows for public auction as part of efforts to boost revenue collection and create space for the introduction of new high-yielding dairy animals.
The exercise, led by Dr. Ezekiel Lumbasi, Chair of the Disposal Committee, saw Pavement Auctioneers oversee the disposal process at Bukura and Khwisero Smart Dairy Farms. The team is scheduled to proceed to Kabras and Matungu Smart Dairy Farms tomorrow.
Kakamega County residents and interested bidders are encouraged to attend the ongoing auction for an opportunity to acquire well-maintained dairy cows suitable for both beef and milk production.
