The County Government of Kakamega is diligently working to ease the challenges of operating businesses within the County, particularly in light of the current conditions.

In this regard, H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa received a comprehensive briefing from the Kakamega County Microfinance Corporation Board, headed by the Chairperson Mr. Silverse Lisamula, regarding the status of the loans provided to businesses in the County.

For the current Financial Year, the County has allocated a total of Ksh. 113 million to support this initiative, with beneficiaries selected through a transparent and fair process.
