H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa has this afternoon, at the Assembly precincts, delivered his official address to the people of Kakamega County, during the opening of the third session of the third County Assembly.

The Governor highlighted his achievements, one year and five months into office, hinged on the six pillars of his manifesto as elaborated in the Kakamega CIDP 2023-2027.

The new Clerk of the Assembly, CPA Dr. Donald Manyala Keya, took the oath of office, where Governor Barasa called on him to apply the required professional experience at the Honourable House.

The session Chaired by Speaker Rt. Hon. James Namatsi was attended by the House Leadership, Members of the County Assembly, the County Executive, representatives of the Senate and the National Assembly and Members of the Public.
