The company, together with the County, is currently conducting a feasibility study which will be followed by the official signing of an MoU.

The County is also working on the completion of Madala Tea Factory, which will serve the area’s tea farmers. Already positive talks have been held with various partners including KTDA and the progress is at an advanced level.

Lastly, Governor Barasa’s administration will be distributing subsidized fertilizer and maize seeds to farmers in a week’s time in the entire County. This, together with the road projects that have been launched, will fortify the #FoodSecurity pillar.
