𝑷𝑼𝑩𝑳𝑰𝑪 𝑷𝑨𝑹𝑻𝑰𝑪𝑰𝑷𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵 𝑭𝑶𝑹𝑼𝑴

H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa concluded his day of launching roads and ECDE Centers today in Ikolomani Sub-County by engaging the residents in a public forum on various developmental issues at Shisende grounds in Idakho North Ward.

In his address, the Governor reaffirmed his dedication to collaborating with area leaders under the coordination of Hon. Bernard Shinali (area MP), to ensure consolidated development to the people.

Governor Barasa revealed his alignment with Hon. Shinali’s vision of improving the lives of the people, emphasizing a joint effort to revitalize the area’s gold sector alongside other initiatives like Agriculture.

The County Government of Kakamega is spearheading several programs to support local farmers. The initiatives include the distribution of subsidized fertilizer and seeds, beehives, fingerlings, pigs, cows, and chicken.

Present to welcome the Governor were MCAs from the area, County Officials led by CECMs CPA Livingstone Imbayi (Finance and ICT), Arch Patrick Kundu (Roads) and Dr Bonface Okoth (Education), among other leaders.
