This morning, H.E. Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa flagged off and kitted high school teams representing Kakamega County ahead of the 2025 KSSSA regional games, set to take place here in Kakamega County from 9th to 12th July. As a cathedral of talent, Kakamega will also host the national KSSSA games and the FEASSA championships in August.

“Our teams are prepared and ready to bring us victory. We are nurturing young talent while positioning Kakamega as a premier sporting destination. These events will not only showcase our athletic excellence but also open up business opportunities for our people,” he said.
