H. E. FCPA Fernandes Barasa inspected the recently delivered drugs and non-pharmaceutical supplies from the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) at the Kakamega County Teaching and Referral Hospital (KCTRH) this afternoon.
Valued at Ksh. 60 M, the supplies are set to strengthen the Governor’s quality health agenda and ensure the facility can continue serving not only Kakamega but also neighboring counties.
During his tour of the hospital, Governor Barasa also assessed the oxygen plant which produces 1, 200 litres per minute. He urged the hospital management to maintain the supplies and the plant to ensure continued service to residents.
The Governor was accompanied by County Officials, led by Health CCO, Dr. David Alila.
