This evening, H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa met with Mulembe Women, Shinyalu chapter, led by their chair, Ms. Margaret Mmuka.

The Social Help Group consists of 600 members from various parts of the County, all engaged in different economic activities.

During the meeting, the Governor committed to increasing the number of Social Protection Grant beneficiaries from 15 to 20 groups per ward. He also encouraged the group to form a SACCO to take advantage of the County’s subsidized microfinance loans.
