This afternoon, H.E. Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa, chaired the quarterly consultative meeting between the Kakamega County Executive and Assembly. The session focused on deepening collaboration between the two arms of government and aligning development priorities as the County prepares for the 2025/2026 Financial Year.
Governor Barasa highlighted the need for unity, mutual respect, and teamwork between the Executive and the Legislature to ensure that service delivery reaches every corner of the County.
He emphasized his administrationโ€™s strong commitment to inclusive leadership and the timely implementation of projects under the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP). The meeting served as an opportunity to reflect on what has been achieved, tackle any emerging issues, and agree on a shared way forward in planning, budgeting, and legislative action. Both sides agreed to continue working closely to meet the needs of the people by ensuring delivery of impactful development across the County.
