This evening, H.E. FCPA Fernandes Barasa condoled with the family of his friend and former Isukha Central MCA, Hon. John Musilwa.

Hon. Musilwa will be fondly remembered for his selfless service and lasting impact to the people of Isukha Central during his 2017โ€“2022 term in the County Assembly of Kakamega.

While addressing mourners, Governor Barasa reiterated his administrationโ€™s development plan for Shinyalu Sub-county. He noted that the revival of Shamakhubu Hospital is well underway, and further announced that the construction of Madala Tea Factory will be launched this year.

Additionally, the Governor assured residents that the upgrading of the Rondoโ€“Chirovani Road to bitumen standards has been prioritized in the 2025/2026 budget.

Governor Barasa was accompanied by Members of the County Assembly, led by Majority Leader CPA Philip Maina, and senior county officials led by Chief Officer Faith Gitira.
