H.E. Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa this evening condoled with Marama North MCA Hon. Charles Nandwa following the passing of his beloved mother, Mama Hellen Mukoya Nandwa, in Butere Constituency.
Governor Barasa eulogized Mama Hellen as a kind-hearted matriarch whose values and wisdom shaped a strongly united and upright family. He offered prayers of comfort and strength to the bereaved family, noting that Mama Hellenโ€™s legacy of compassion and discipline will live on. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
While addressing residents, the Governor confirmed that construction works at the Butere Level IV Hospital now stand at 94 percent completion and will soon be commissioned. He also noted that the Firatsi Water Project is ongoing and remains a top priority for his administration.
The Governor was accompanied by Butere MP Hon. Tindi Mwale, Kakamega County Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon. James Namatsi, Members of the County Assembly, Former First Lady Priscillah Oparanya, and Members of the County Executive led by Finance and ICT CECM Benjamin Andama.
