H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa successfully completed the seventh leg of his comprehensive road development initiative of Kakamega County in Khwisero today, with the launch of the Yath SDA Church β Ukonya β Dudi Road.
This crucial route, connecting Kakamega to Siaya County, is an economic hub, necessitating well-maintained roads for optimal utilization and benefits.
The day’s activities concluded with a public participation forum and an ODM Party membership registration drive at Dudi open field.
In his address, Governor Barasa highlighted his upcoming distribution of subsidized fertilizer and seeds, along with bursaries, noting that these initiatives would directly benefit resident farmers and the underprivileged learners respectively.
The Governor was accompanied by Khwisero Sub-county MCAs, County Officials comprising Executive Members, Chief of Staff Kassim Were, Chief Officers, Advisors, Directors, the Administration and other senior government officers.
