Building upon the insights gathered during the public participation exercise in Lusheya Lubinu Ward, Mumias East Sub-county, today H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa launched the Malaha – Khaunga Bridge bitumen road. This is the second phase of the Harambee – Musamba – Khaunga Bridge road that was launched last year.

This infrastructure development initiative will open up the economy of Navakholo, Mumias East and Matungu Sub-Counties, largely known for sugarcane farming.
