Delivering Better Healthcare for Kakamega

H.E. Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa today inspected ongoing works at the Butere Level 4 Hospital, which is on track for completion and handover by August this year. Once complete, the upgraded facility will greatly improve access to quality healthcare for the people of Butere and neighbouring areas.

The Governor also visited the hospital’s pharmacy, where he confirmed the steady supply of essential medicines. He further reviewed the positive progress of the BarasaCare program, noting the encouraging uptake among expectant mothers, an important step toward better maternal and child health in Kakamega County.
