Lukongo Health Center will strengthen healthcare delivery in Etenje Ward and Mumias West Sub-county upon completion this year.

This afternoon, His Excellency Governor Fernandes Barasa inspected the ongoing construction works at the facility and was impressed by the steady progress and quality of the project.

Once operational, the health center is expected to ease pressure on surrounding facilities by offering essential outpatient and maternal health services. It aligns with Governor Barasa’s broader health agenda to expand access to affordable, quality healthcare across all wards, with strategic investments in infrastructure, equipment and staffing, leaving no resident behind, moving forward together.
