DEPUTY GOVERNOR HON. SAVULA IN NAVAKHOLO SUB-COUNTY, BUNYALA CENTRAL WARD.

The County Government of Kakamega, under the leadership of H.E. Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa, is grading a section of the Shianda–Samitsi–Malava road.

While officially flagging off the commencement of grading works from Mukhweso Junction through Kaunda to Malaha Market, and standing in for the Governor, H.E. Hon. Ayub Savula said the County Government has stepped in to rehabilitate the road section to help residents cut transport costs occasioned by the delay of the National Government in completing the project.

The DG further stated that the County Government has allocated Ksh. 100 million to upgrade the Ingotse–Navakholo–Chebuyusi road to bitumen standards. He underscored this as a major achievement by H.E. Governor Barasa for the people of Navakholo Sub-County.

Accompanying the DG were the CECM for Public Service and Administration, Dr. Boniface Okoth, and the CECM for Roads and Public Works, Arch. Patrick Kundu.
