GOVERNOR BARASA SIGNS PERFORMANCE CONTRACTS WITH EXECUTIVES

Kakamega Governor H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa on Thursday presided over the signing of 2023/2024 Financial Year Performance Contracts (PCs) with County Executive Members at the Chambers Hall, County Headquarters.

The Governor informed the Executives that the PCs signed will translate aspirations to actionable instruments and directed each department to focus on Absorption of allocated funds, Measures of reducing pending bills, Digitizing government services and Completion of projects among others.

The event emphasized the Governor’s committment of enhancing service delivery to the residents of Kakamega County as the Executives will be expected to conform to the set targets.

During the event, the County boss officially received trophies awarded to the County Government of Kakamega by CPF Financial Services for outstanding performance in pension management. In addition to pension management, the County was also recognized as the most consistent devolved unit in membership growth, the distinguished sponsor of the year 2022, and the leader in consistent remittance of monthly contributions.
