This morning, H.E. Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa worshipped with the faithful of Musanda KAG Church in Mumias West Sub-County.

In his address, Governor Barasa stated that plans were underway to disburse bursaries to learners from low-income families, as well as social protection grants to 1,200 organized groups, beginning this September.

The Governor also announced that the ODM Party is scheduled to hold its county elections tomorrow at Bishop Stam Pastoral Centre, as part of broader efforts to strengthen grassroots structures and enhance internal party democracy in Kakamega county. He urged Party Delegates to ensure the elections are free, fair, and transparent.

Also present were Members of County Assembly (MCAs) led by Majority Leader Hon. Philip Maina and the host Hon. Joseph Omusinde, County Executive Members, and other senior government officials.
