KAKAMEGA ENGAGES MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC IN DEVELOPMENT OF 2026/27 PLAN
The County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Finance, Mr. Benjamin Andama, today led other members of the Executive in engaging the public on the County Annual Development Plan (C-ADP) 2026β2027 through public participation forums across the Central, Northern, and Southern regions.
The exercise brought together all stakeholders who shared their priorities and proposals for inclusion in the Countyβs development agenda.
Mr. Andama emphasized the importance of public participation in guiding resource allocation and in ensuring that projects address the actual needs of the people. He further urged citizens to embrace the government of the day by supporting its programmes.
County officials underscored Governor Fernandes Barasaβs commitment to inclusive governance and citizen driven planning, noting that the views collected from all regions will form a strong foundation for the 2026β2027 C-ADP.
