PERFORMANCE CONTRACTS FOR IMPROVED SERVICE DELIVERY

CECM for ICT, e-Government & Communication Dr. George Lutomia today signed the 2018/2019 performance contract with his Chief Officer Mr. Eugene Wamalwa Milimo at the ministry’s boardroom, Kotecha building, Kakamega. This follows the signing of the performance indicator (PC) between Governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya and his CECs as well as the County Secretary who is also the Head of Civil Service at the County. The parameters will now be scaled down to departmental heads & their staff.

Dr. Lutomia urged the ministry’s staff to embrace the targets as they had been planned and negotiated before being appended to. He said the Ministry has earmarked funds for major projects such as the ERP, countywide connectivity, installation of CCTVs, and establishment of a radio production studio among others. Chief Officer Mr Eugene Wamalwa said staff should commit themselves to attainable goals.

Governor’s Advisor on Governance and Strategy, Mr. Musa Chibole witnessed the ceremony.
