This Morning at Malava Sub county office, H.E. FCPA Governor Fernandes Barasa flagged off the distribution of essential drugs and non-pharmaceuticals to Level 2 and 3 health facilities in kakamega county.

The Sh50 million consignment will benefit 181 dispensaries across all 12 constituencies in Kakamega County. Governor Barasa emphasized that medical officers must uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in the handling and management of medical supplies.

This initiative is part of Governor Barasaโ€™s broader commitment to strengthening primary healthcare delivery and ensuring equitable access to essential medical services across Kakamega County.

The Governor was accompanied by Members of the County Assembly led by the host MCA Peter Wanami, Health Committee Chair Hon. Gladys Omukongolo, and the County Executive Committee led by CECM for Health CPA Dr. Livingstone Imbayi.
