H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa’s visit to Navakholo Sub-County concluded at Buhayi open field in Bunyala West Ward, where he elaborated his programs and future plans for the sugarcane-rich region.

Both the National and County Government of Kakamega remain committed to resuscitating the longtime national agricultural commercial sugar sector.

Among our other ongoing milestones is the Amatsi Khumuliango project that provides clean water for both domestic and farming activities to benefit the local residents.

Earlier, he launched the Bunyala West Ward 10KM per Ward road project that will see Buhayi Divine Church – Nanyundo Streams – Nderema Junction road constructed, among other infrastructural development across the five wards of Navakholo.

The Governor disclosed that his administration has allocated KSh. 50 Million for the construction of all weather gravel roads in Navakholo this Financial Year.
