Mumias – Matawa – Indangalasia road, whose upgrade to bitumen standard has been launched today by H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa serves as a crucial link connecting three constituencies — Mumias, Matungu, and Ugenya — thereby bridging Kakamega and Siaya counties.

This road will play a vital role in connecting the Matawa organic fertilizer manufacturing plant, launched last year, with nearby towns; consequently, facilitating smooth transportation of raw materials, finished products and labour to and from the facility. This will catalyse economic growth in the region in line with H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa’s Pillar of Wealth creation and Infrastructure development.
