This evening, H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa engaged in discussions with a team from ABF United Company Limited, a livestock value addition organization to strategize on the completion and operationalization of the Malava Dairy Plant this year.

The team also reached consensus on establishing an animal feeds factory to include beef to the dairy value-chain as well as the establishment of an animal rearing center.

Later, the ABF delegation led by Mr. Mohammed Mousa visited the Malava Dairy Plant.

Present at the meeting were the Agriculture CECM Mr. Benjamin Andama, Chief of Staff Mr. Isaac Omungo, Chief Officers Ms. Jesca Wesonga, Emmanuel Kariuki and Samson Otieno, KCIDA CEO Ms. Elizabeth Asichi and KDDC CEO Dr. Isaac Lubutsi.
