𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐒𝐄𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐀 𝐁𝐔𝐌𝐏𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐒 𝐊𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐆𝐀 𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐅𝐀𝐑𝐌 𝐒𝐔𝐁𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐒

A promising year awaits farmers in Kakamega County as H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa concluded the distribution of farm subsidies. The launch for Northern Sub-counties took place today at Lwandeti Ward Office in Lugari Sub-County.

The comprehensive distribution includes Fertilizer, Pesticides, Maize Seeds, and Fish Feeds, amounting to a total investment of Ksh. 703 million and Ksh. 9 million respectively. This initiative spans across all the 60 Wards.

The County is also supporting farmers through subsidized mechanized land preparation with a fleet of 15 heavy duty tractors hosted at the Bukura ATC.

Present were MCAs led by the host Hon. Dan Mukhwani and Chief Whip Hon. Benard Mulama, Senior County Officials, Administrators from both levels of government and farmers.
