COUNTY HOSTS SENATE COMMITTEE ON AGRICULTURE

County Government of Kakamega led by County Secretary Dr. Lawrence Omuhaka on Friday March 1st hosted a delegation of Senate committee on Agriculture led by their Chair Mr. James Murango.

The team centered their discussion on Sugarcane farming in Kakamega county.

County Secretary Dr. Omuhaka took the opportunity to ask Kakamega Senator Dr. Bonny Khalwale to Support Kakamega County’s growth in the Agriculture department at the National level.

Mr. Benjamin Andama, the CECM for Agriculture took the opportunity to highlight the growth of Agriculture in Kakamega county with special focus on the ongoing distribution of the Subsidized fertilizer by H.E Governor Fernandes Barasa.

Present in the meeting was the CECM Public Service and Administration Mr Godfrey Owori and Kakamega County committee on Agriculture led by their Chair Mr. James Etabale.
