The Council of Governors has this evening called out striking medics for reneging on their agreement with County Governments to return to work.

The Council, while addressing members of the Fourth Estate today at KICC, Nairobi, said the Doctors’ representatives were a no show to sign the agreement yesterday, April the 22nd.

Among the issues that the deed was to address include; Medical Insurance, Car loan and mortgages, Salary arrears, New CBA and Post graduate study leave.

The Council has advised respective County Governments to take appropriate actions, within Human Resource guidelines, to ensure that health services are not disrupted going forward.
