H. E. FCPA Fernandes Barasa proudly received the trophies won by the KACWASCO soccer team and the cultural dance troupe during the 13th edition of the WASCO games in Murang’a County.

Both teams showcased exceptional skills, emerging best in their respective categories.

The Governor urged the teams to sustain the winning streak in future editions.

At the same time, the Governor emphasized the need for KACWASCO to align its activities to the “Amatsi Khumuliango” initiative whose objective is expanding water access to every household.

Governor Barasa, further, committed to investing in sporting infrastructure to nurture Kakamega’s abundant talent as the County prepares for the 3rd edition of the Governor’s Cup.

Present at the ceremony were MCAs led by the area representative Hon. Moses Musundi, County Executive members led by Sports CECM Mr. Morphat Mandela, KACWASCO staff led by Board Chair Mr. Boaz Bulimu, among other dignitaries.
