H.E. Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa today joined the family, friends, and residents of Panyako Village in Matungu Sub-county to mourn the passing of the late Mzee Iddi Mwanga.

While addressing mourners, Governor Barasa emphasized his administrationโ€™s commitment to deliver his promise by improving healthcare, access to water, food security, infrastructure development, education, and good governance across the county.

He noted that construction of a maternity wing at Matungu Level IV Hospital is currently underway, a major boost to maternal and child health services in the area.

Additionally, he announced that the upgrading of Harambeeโ€“Khaunga Road to bitumen standards will resume this month.

The Governor also disclosed that the countywide distribution of subsidized top-dressing fertilizer will commence next week, prioritizing vulnerable members of society.
