In a series of meetings scheduled with the youth and Gen Z, who have recently advocated for social-political issues, H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa met with a cohort from the International Republican Institute (IRI) at his office on Wednesday.

The Governor thanked IRI youths for the key role they play in promoting responsive and accountable governance enhancing effective service delivery in Kakamega County.

The Governor also committed to supporting their initiatives and partnering with them to strengthen the relationship between the youth and the Executive.

Also present were the County Secretary, Dr. Lawrence Omuhaka and the Chief Officer for Service Delivery, Mr. Phitalis Were Masakhwe.
