Butere Sub-County is the final stop for the first phase of road projects launch that H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa has been undertaking across the 12 Sub-counties in all the 60 wards, where Lurambi was the pioneer.

In Marama North Ward, Khushiku – Mwalimu Ongoma – Eshikwata Road has just been launched and work already ongoing.

All these projects are geared towards improving the standards of the people of Kakamega County, by empowering them economically through creation of conducive environment for carrying out various economic activities.

Present were the Ward representative Hon. Edwin Nadwa, fellow MCAs, CECMs, Dr. Lawrence Omuhaka, the County Secretary, Chief Officers, Advisors, the Administration, among other top officials in the County.
