𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗴𝗮: 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲

The construction of a 45-bed modern maternity wing at Matungu Level 4 Hospital is steadily progressing, marking yet another milestone in Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa’s bold health agenda. This project, implemented in partnership with Jacaranda Health, is set to significantly improve access to quality maternal and newborn care for the people of Matungu and beyond.

Once complete, it will join the ranks of the modern maternity units already delivered at Lumakanda and Malava Level 4 Hospitals in 2023, reinforcing Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa’s commitment to strengthening our healthcare system, reducing maternal mortality, and promoting dignified births across Kakamega County.
