GOVERNOR BARASA WRAPS UP FERTILIZER DISTRIBUTION EXERCISE

The Governor of Kakamega County H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa on Monday 6th March 2023 concluded the Countywide distribution of subsidized fertilizer and certified maize seeds to residents of Kakamega where a total of 120,000 bags of fertilizer and 109,740 packets of maize seeds were distributed across the sixty wards.

The Governor wound up the exercise in Matungu, Mumias West and Mumias East Sub-Counties where he announced to residents that top dressing fertilizer will also be delivered in the County soon for distribution to the respective wards.

He also used the platform to reiterate his resolve to work with the National Government to deliver on his promises to the people of Kakamega County as their duly elected Governor calling on leaders to give him time to implement his manifesto. Once again the County CEO thanked Members of Kakamega County Assembly for remaining steadfast in their Legislative and Oversight roles thus far.
