COUNTY CONCLUDES INDUCTION TRAINING FOR REVENUE OFFICERS AND PLANT OPERATORS
The County Government of Kakamega, led by the County Secretary Dr. Lawrence Omuhaka, completed the two-day induction training for revenue officers and plant operators on Friday, February 23rd.
Speaking on the second day of the training, Dr. Lawrence Omuhaka guided the new officers through various government procedures, including training and promotion procedures, the roles of the executive and county assembly arms in devolution, and the importance of competency in the workplace.
CECM Finance, CPA Livingston Imbayi, addressed the topic of integrity, emphasizing the importance of professionalism in their respective workplaces.
CECM for Public Service and Administration, Mr. Godfrey Owori, stressed the importance of developing positive workplace relationships to achieve Governor Fernandes Barasa’s six-pillar agenda.
Chief Officer for Public Service, Mrs. Priscah Otipa, facilitated a team-building exercise encompassing various activities to foster unity within the team.
Also present at the meeting were Chief Officers Patrick Butichi for Special Programs and Ms. Dorine Amwoga for County Administration.
