H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa graced the celebration of over 100 years since the establishment of the Salvation Army – Kenya West Territory, at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, Graduation Square.

At the event, the Governor reiterated that he will continue collaborating with the Church, through the Office of the Chaplaincy, to further enhance service delivery to the people of Kakamega County.

Governor Barasa further congratulated Colonels Geoff Webb and Kalie Webb on their installation as Kenya West Territorial Leaders. He wished them every success in their new roles.

Present were the Church leadership led by General Lyndon Buckingham and Commander Bronwyn Buckingham, Kakamega Senator Hon. Boni Khalwale, County MP Hon. Elsie Muhanda, MPs Benard Shinali (Ikolomani) and Hon. Dan Wanyama (Webuye West), MCAs, County Officials, among other faithfuls.
