Kakamega County Executives have been instructed to intensify monitoring of County Government funded projects and programmes in their respective dockets to guarantee effective service delivery to the residents.

This was emphasized by H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa during a service delivery meeting where he said regular spot checks on the projects should be a normal routine by the Executives aimed at ensuring delivery of quality services by the contractors.

To enhance service delivery at the grassroots, the Governor said Sub-County Administrators will be required to prioritize information flow projects within their areas of jurisdiction during the meetings.

Some of the areas under review during the meeting were the rates of absorption of development programmes, payment of pending bills and implementation of stalled projects among others.

The forum was attended by all Senior County Executives.
