COUNTY WORKERS SENSITISED ON COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH COVERAGE
Today marked the second day of the staff comprehensive health insurance sensitization program centered on the comprehensive health insurance framework available to county employees, an initiative spearheaded by His Excellency Fernandes Barasa under the Good Governance pillar.
During the plenary session, key concerns raised by participants were effectively addressed by representatives from Jubilee Insurance, specifically Ms. Eddy Khavakali, along with Ms. Samantha Koskey from Transnep, the brokerage facilitating the insurance services. The proposed medical coverage spectrum spans from KSh750,000 for entry-level personnel to KSh10 million for senior management.
The session was moderated by Dr. Bonface Okoth, the County Executive Committee Member for Public Service, in collaboration with Ms. Prisca Otipa, the Chief Officer for Public Service, and other representatives from Transnep and Jubilee/M-Tiba, the chosen insurance providers under this initiative.
The group is set to reconvene tomorrow at Lumakanda Tac Hall in Lugari Sub-County at 9:00 a.m
