The County Road Maintenance initiative kicks off

The County Road Maintenance initiative has kicked off in Likuyani, Lugari, Ikolomani, Matungu, Mumias West, Mumias East, and Lurambi sub-counties as part of the ongoing efforts by Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa to improve rural road infrastructure in Kakamega County. Part of the 2024/25 financial year’s maintenance program, it focuses on graveling, grading, murraming, and culvert installation on select roads.

All sub-counties shall be covered by this program.
