𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐌 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄

This morning, H.E. Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa observed Palm Sunday at Holy Spirit Bulimbo Catholic Church in Kholera Ward, Matungu Sub-County.

Palm Sunday, the last Sunday of Lent, ushers in Holy Week—a sacred time that leads to the celebration of Easter.

In his address, Governor Barasa called upon Christians to embrace peace, humility, and sacrifice, just as Christ did.

Further, he called on Members of Parliament to support the proposed Sh450 billion sharable revenue for the 2025/2026 financial year; this, as he faulted the Controller of Budget for failing to release February, March, and April monies on time to help deliver essential services and drive development at the grassroots.

He was accompanied by MCAs, led by host Osama Tingli, and various members of the County Executive.
