H.E. FCPA Governor Fernandes Barasa today joined the family, friends, and mourners to pay his last respects to the late Mzee John Serebwa Anyolo at Shibale in Mumias Central Ward, Mumias West Sub-County.

In his address, Governor Barasa described Mzee Serebwa as a humble and principled man, remembered for his quiet strength, resilience, and deep love for his family—qualities that earned him widespread respect across the community.

The late Mzee Serebwa began his professional journey at RAIPLY in Eldoret, later joined SEMBI MOTORS in Kakamega, and eventually served at Mumias Sugar Company. He was admired for his dedication, discipline, and strong work ethic throughout his career.

Governor Barasa extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and celebrated Mzee Serebwa’s life as a true example of diligence and compassion—values he hoped would live on through his children and future generations.

Also present were Members of County Assembly (MCAs), County Executives, and other senior government officials.
