This evening, His Excellency Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa inspected the ongoing works at Bukhungu Stadium and expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far.

The Governor assured residents and football fans that the pitch will be ready in time to host the East Africa School Games (FEASSSA), scheduled to kick off on 14th August 2025. He further noted that the entire stadium is on course for full completion by June 2026
