H.E. Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa today joined Kenyans and leaders from across the world, led by President William Ruto, at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) to mark the final journey of the late Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga before his burial at Kangโ€™o ka Jaramogi in Bondo, Siaya County.
The solemn occasion brought together thousands of mourners who gathered to honour a statesman whose courage, democratic ideals, and vision for unity shaped Kenyaโ€™s political and social landscape.
Governor Barasa, representing the people of Kakamega County, joined fellow national and international leaders in paying his last respects to the former Prime Minister and ODM Party Leader, standing in solidarity with the Odinga family and all Kenyans in celebrating a life of service, sacrifice, and leadership.
Kakamega County stands in unity with the rest of the nation during this moment of national reflection and mourning.
