NYAPORA HEALTH CENTRE READY FOR COMMISSIONING

Nyapora Health Centre in Mumias West subcounty is ready for commisioning. The CECM for Health Services Dr. Livingston Imbayi on Thursday assessed construction works ahead of the facility’s official commisioning by the Governor H.E Dr. Fernandes Barasa., FCPA next week.

The facility funded by The Rotary Club in partnership with the county government will bring health services closer to the residents, once operational, as envisioned by the Governor’s quality health care provision agenda.

The CECM used the opportunity to address and implore members of the Hospital Management Board/Health Facility Management Committees to be good ambassadors of health initiatives, particularly promotion of quality medical services and SHA registration within health facilities to enhance service delivery and access to health care.

The members induction exercise being carried out in all the 12 subcounties will ensure operational efficiency in health facilities.

Present were County Attorney Ms Vivianne Mmbaka, Chief Officer Ms. Rose Muhanda (Public Health) and the Director for Medical Services Dr. Stephen Wandeyi.
