Governor Barasa Attends Council of Governors Annual Retreat on Service Delivery

Today, H.E. Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa joined fellow Governors in Kilifi County for the opening of the Council of Governors Annual Retreat, themed “Re-positioning the Council for Effective Service Delivery in Light of the Political Environment.”

The retreat provides a strategic platform for Governors to assess performance, refine shared priorities, and strengthen engagement with key stakeholders to ensure devolution continues to work for and benefit the people.

Today’s discussions centred on enhancing engagement with the Senate and its Standing Committees, while also examining key challenges and priorities within the health sector, which remains fundamental to effective devolved service delivery
