COUNTY EXECUTIVES TAKE CHARGE IN NEW STATIONS

Kakamega County Deputy Governor H.E Hon Ayub Savula in his capacity as the coordinator of all County Ministries, Departments and Agencies Friday morning oversaw the handing over of roles of several County Executive Members following a recent reorganization of Government by Governor Fernandes Barasa.

The brief ceremony saw Mr Lawrence Omuhaka assume his new roles as the County Secretary and Head of Public Service while his former docket (Ministry of Public Service and Administration) was taken over by Mr Godfrey Owori. Ms Rachel Atamba also took over the reins at the Trade, Industrialization and Tourism docket after the Deputy Governor Ayub Savula was handed extra responsibilities, of coordinating Government functions, by the Governor.

CPA Livingstone Imbayi was also officially handed over the ICT, E-government and Communication duties on top of the Finance, Budget and Economic Planning roles he held earlier.

The Deputy Governor instructed the Officers to diligently discharge their mandate at their respective stations with an aim of enhancing service delivery for the benefit of the residents of Kakamega County.
