Governor Barasa Assures Continuation of Mumias–Matawa–Indangalasia Road Works

H.E. FCPA Fernandes Barasa has announced that construction works on the Mumias–Matawa–Indangalasia Road will resume next week.

He said the road is very important to the people of Mumias and the surrounding areas. Once upgraded to bitumen standards, it will make transport easier, help farmers and traders move their goods faster, and boost business in the region.

The Governor spoke during a fundraiser held at ACK Mumias Cathedral to support the church’s development programmes. The event brought together leaders from across the region.

Among those present were Energy Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi, Kenneth Lusaka, Ayub Savula, Beatrice Adagala, Dan Wanyama and Kakai Bisau, among other leaders.

Governor Barasa said his administration will continue to invest in roads and other projects that improve the lives of residents.
