GOVERNOR BARASA HOLDS TALKS WITH AFRICAN CAPACITY BUILDING FOUNDATION EXECUTIVE SECRETARY
Kakamega Governor H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa on Tuesday held talks with Mr. Mamadou Biteye, the Executive Secretary of the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) at the sidelines of the Africa Climate Change Summit in Nairobi.
They discussed the need for capacity building in various areas, including climate change governance, food security, disaster risk management, water infrastructure, human settlement, forestry, wildlife adoption, and green energy.
ACBF pledged its support to enhance institutional and human capacity in Kakamega County.
Present were the CECM for Water, Natural Resources and Climate Change Mrs Peninah Mukabane, Chief Officer Mr Justin Mutobera, Director Peter Mathia and Dr. Lynda Etale from ACBF.
