Governor Barasa Joins Catholic Faithful for Ash Wednesday Mass
This afternoon, H.E. Governor FCPA Fernandes Barasa attended the Ash Wednesday Mass, held at the County Headquarters. This marks the beginning of Lent, a 40-day period of fasting, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, and generosity leading up to Easter.
In his address, Governor Barasa emphasized the importance of giving to the less fortunate in society during this period. He called on Christians to embrace teamwork and honesty, highlighting that the spirit of giving extends beyond material support to include the committed workmanship of county staff in improving service delivery.
Present were members of the County Assembly, led by Clerk Dr. Donald Manyala, and the County Executive, led by CECM Peninah Mukabane.
