H.E. Governor Fernandes Barasa has signed an MOU with Kenya Red Cross

H.E. Governor Fernandes Barasa has signed an MOU with Kenya Red Cross which seeks to provide various areas of collaboration including, health; environment; and, disaster management, among other sectors.

Governor Barasa, who is also the Red Cross Kakamega Branch Patron revealed that Red Cross is set to establish a Western branch headquarters in Kakamega, which will serve 12 other member counties.

In attendance were Red Cross delegation led by Secretary General Ahmed Idris, USAID delegation, the International Federation for Red Cross (IFRC), among other partners and County Officials.
