KAKAMEGA SUBSCRIBES TO A NEW REVENUE PLATFORM

Kakamega County Governor H.E. FCPA Fernandes Barasa is committed to ensuring the County’s own source revenue improves from KShs1.2B to KShs3B within this and next financial year.

The Department of Finance and Economic Planning on Wednesday afternoon entered into a contract with Sense Networks Limited to design, install, implement, commission and maintain a revenue collection and management platform.

County Executive Committee Member CPA Livingstone Imbayi chaired the brief exercise at the County Headquarters’ boardroom witnessed by County Secretary Dr Bonface Okoth together with the County Attorney CS Vivianne Mmbaka.

Finance Chief Officer Dr June Mwajuma and her ICT Counterpart Mr. Phanuel Musasia signed the contract on behalf of the Government.

The lead person of the service provider’s delegation Mr. Titus Tarus thanked the County Government for awarding them the task given the stiff competition from worthy bidders.
